Who We Are
About Community Chapel FWB

Community Chapel FWB is a place where faith, fellowship, and service have flourished for more than a century in Jefferson County. Our story began around 1900 when local believers established Mount Pleasant Methodist Episcopal Church, laying foundations both physical and spiritual for generations to come.

By 1952, the congregation moved to our present location, reassembling the original church with devotion and teamwork. As Community Chapel, we’ve nurtured spiritual maturity, welcomed neighbors, and devoted ourselves to service—growing and adapting while keeping Christ at the heart of all we do.

Our mission is simple yet profound: to strive for maturity in faith, to uplift every person who walks through our doors, and to share God’s love freely. From Sunday School classes and worship services to Bible studies and community outreach, there are many opportunities for you and your family to find connection, purpose, and spiritual growth.

We believe in creating a welcoming environment where everyone is greeted as a friend and encouraged to take their next step with Christ. Whether you’re seeking answers, looking for a church home, or simply want to experience genuine community, you’ll find a place to belong at Community Chapel FWB.
